A Few Words About Dehradun

Dehradun is the capital of Uttarakhand, a hilly north Indian state. Situated at the foothills of the Himalayas, Dehradun is a beautiful city which is a fine blend of a busy city and a picturesque hill station. Famously known as gateway to well known hilly areas of Mussoorie and Garhwal, Dehradun is one of the oldest Indian cities. It is also recognized as the hub of education of North India. This city has been ruled by Mughal, Sikh as well as Gurkha rulers in the past. Later on, several educational institutions of repute were established in this city.
